The Nest Stage

“The Nest Stage”, designed by Liquid PXL for the 2021 and 2022 Firefly Music Festival, is an immersive fusion of light and sound that transforms the traditional dance floor experience. The DJ booth is adorned with over 80 light tubes arranged to create a soundwave pattern across its facade, providing a dynamic visual representation of the music. Above the dance floor, six 18-foot-wide hexagonal light pods are suspended 15 feet high, rigged to the tree canopy, casting intricate patterns of light and shadow that enhance the ambiance. This permanent installation exemplifies Liquid PXL’s commitment to integrating cutting-edge lighting design with natural environments, crafting spaces that invite attendees to lose themselves in a multisensory journey.
