20 x 160 x 10 feet
“River of Lights” is a modular light installation composed of 160 LED tubes suspended overhead in a sweeping, 180-foot formation. Designed to evoke the fluid motion of a flowing river, the piece uses custom rigging and netting to suspend its form within the tree canopy, inviting passersby to walk beneath its shifting glow.
Originally installed along a forested path, the work connects natural and digital environments through responsive, programmable lighting that adapts to its surroundings. Its suspended structure creates a sense of movement and energy, guiding audiences from one space to another in a quietly immersive experience.
With its blend of architectural precision and atmospheric design, “River of Lights” transforms any outdoor setting into a luminous passage, encouraging exploration and shared wonder.
